EICMA 2016

EICMA was founded in 1914 by the will of motorcycle enthusiasts. Today, after more than 102 years, EICMA continues to be the quick reference point for the motorcycle and accessory industry. EICMA is the largest event in the world, bringing together over 160 Italian and foreign companies, and promotes the two-wheeler industry in Italy. This is the third year Brock's Performance has attended the event, and we just can't get enough of the innovation we see every year. We present to you, a small taste of this year's event.

Ducati takes the world of Supersport bikes to levels that were unheard of until now; the 1299 Superleggera is the first ever factory bike to be equipped with a carbon fiber frame, swingarm, subframe and wheels. The Ducati Superleggera is the first street-legal production motorcycle to feature OEM Carbon Fiber wheels, manufactured by BST.

EICMA 2016

The carbon fiber wheels on the 1299 Superleggera reduce unsprung mass and lower the moment of inertia, resulting in greatly improved handling and quicker response. The overall weight reduction of 1.4 kg (3.1 lb.) for the pair of wheels, compared to forged aluminum rims, guarantees a reduction in rolling inertia of 26% on the front and 58% on the rear.

Thanks to its 215 hp, the desmodromic engine on the 1299 Superleggera is the most powerful factory twin-cylinder ever built; it incorporates the ultimate levels of Ducati technology.

BST also made a splash with the announcement of their new Candy Colored wheels coming spring of 2017.

The Brock's Performance R&D Department has a full slate of performance products planned for the new 2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000. With a completely new race bike inspired design, the 2017 promises an increase to 202 BHP. Look for the new model in Moto GP next year ridden by Andrea Iannone.

Sprint Filter now has the capability to design custom shaped air filters for American V-Twins, and we loved the Brock's 'B' filter they created for the EICMA show! Would your club like to personalize their look?

Spark Exhaust Technology made headlines this year with numerous podium finishes in International Road Racing.

Additionally, the new high-pressure core technology achieves a higher density in the composite, extreme physical accuracy, and a greater smoothness of the wheel surface. And don't forget, the wheel is watertight and DOT approved. Stay tuned for more information.

Taking the exclusive Ninja H2 ownership experience to a new level, the strictly Limited Edition Ninja H2 Carbon has a presence that few, if any machines, can match. EICMA 2016

The MV Agusta + Zagato F4Z collectible motorcycle is based on the standard mechanics of the MV Agusta ‘F4′, as a one-off piece for a Japanese entrepreneur, collector of Zagato cars, as well as Italian bikes. The ‘MV Agusta F4Zs’ bodywork was designed and engineered by the Zagato team and built with aluminum and carbon fiber.

EICMA 2016

The throttle unit has been updated; up & down EAS 2.0 quick shift is standard, complimented by a hydraulic clutch with integrated slipper system. The engine management is entrusted to MVICS system and includes an updated Full Ride-by-Wire System incorporating multi-map with eight level adjustable traction control. BMW Motorrad has announced that it will create a limited-production HP4 Race in 2017. Based on the S1000RR, the Race will come complete with a carbon fiber twin-spar frame and carbon fiber wheels. “It was initially left open as to how far the advanced prototype reflected what the final motorcycle would look like,” BMW said. “It is also certain that the BMW HP4 Race will be manufactured by hand in an exclusive limited series and supplied in the second half of 2017.”

The Oracolo has an unpolished aesthetic and leaves a raw and lasting impression. It’s based on the Russian Dnepr MT11 and has been re-worked into this simple looking but effective custom by Italian builder, Eugenio Vezzetti. The bike centers around the hand fabricated brass tank and seat that was previously an engine mount for a Honda XT125 and the front forks that have come from a Moto Guzzi Ercole. The result is a subtle but striking motorcycle seeing Venzzetti take first place in this year’s Deus Ex Machina bike build off.

EICMA 2016

The CB1100TR concept was created to share the emotion and excitement of USA flat track culture. Honda’s Rome-based R&D designers have imagined the CB1100TR as the ‘King of Urban Flat Track Circuits’, as a counterpoint to the off-road oval circuit look of the traditional flat tracker. While it exudes a pure racing spirit, its design has more of the ‘street’ orientation favored by European customers. The number 58 is used on the CB1100TR to honor the memory of Honda’s beloved MotoGP rider Marco Simoncelli, who passed away 5 years ago.

The unique design utilities a 100% carbon fiber monocoque chassis that incorporates the bikes fuel tank along with all of its visible bodywork from the front fairing right through to its tail unit.
