I was looking at your ceramic coated alien head. I was wondering how durable is the coating? Will it hold up to years of riding and 10's of thousands of miles? Is it possible to have it re-coated if it should start to chip off?

It is very durable, however, little rocks and things like that can still chip the coating. You can get anything recoated except mufflers that do not have a removable baffle.

Mine are being delivered today from Jet-Hot Coatings..they did the inside and out side of the CT Dual System.....the manager there also drives a ZX14 called me yesterday says they look great ...so just waiting on Federal Express man now.....
265.00 for everything except the mufflers includes shipping.

I did end up picking up a ceramic coated alien head it is amazing.... the power is great, the sound is sweet and the coating cuts down on a lot of the heat

Ok I have several pics to share with you....can I post them here, or do you have a direct e mail address so I can send them to you there?
Rode it 150 miles today.....5 minutes after shut down....you can touch the muffler and not get burned, the pipe is warm but not hot to the touch....sounds great..runs like a bat...really looks awesome with the black frame, the Titanium Brock Muffler with green logo is the cat's meow....on looks and performance. Am extremely satisfied with this exhaust system...I stretched 3 springs beyond usefulness, so need a few more sent to me so I can get them all in proper positions. All springs are on the main headpipe.....just need a few along the way to the rear. |

Steve am getting your PM's...sent you some pics of the Jet Hot coating on the CT Dual..did you get them? Your PC is arriving tomorrow...gonna try to install it and test it Sunday morning....
Ordered your oil, 3 extra springs, and some oil additive.... Bike is a little rough running on the low end when starting off in 1st gear and at slow speeds, hopefully the PC will clear that up and add some smoothness.... Bought your in pipe silencers thought the dual CT was going to be to loud...guess I need to return them for a credit...love the dual sound of this pipe system! Ninja |
