We're dying out here in Vmax land waiting for the new exhaust to come out. I feel like a kid waiting for Xmas. Any idea of when the new exhaust will ready for prime time? |

Are you coating some of the pipes with black ceramic in advance or will they need to be sent out for coating?
Thanks!!! |

Guys, We made a few changes to make sure fitment is 100%, we should have them by the end of the month - first of November. Thanks for being patient, they are worth the wait. |

Hindle mentioned you're ready for production. We're ready for consumption. We saw the dyno for the Gen3 full system; 208hp/132tq. Pretty nice. Let us know.... |

We have made some changes we want to test to make this exhaust better, we have parts in house to test but because of our race schedule we are looking at the end of November - first of December before we have systems to sell. We hate to keep you waiting but we want to make the best performing pipe possible for the V-MAX.

Question for you. Met a Dyno Jet rep here at the SEMA show that said he would install your pipe for me along with the Big Air and quick shifter and give me map support for free. Then he'll have a map that he can market. Is that undercutting your business? In other words, should I not let them have the bike and install everything myself and just use your map? I don't want to piss you guys off going around your back if you percieve it to be that way. Let me know Torc |

Torc,
Have him speak to Dusty - we have an agreement with Dynojet that they will not do what he described. Brock |

torc55, If you purchase the exhaust and power commander we will install the map before we ship and all you need to do is plug and play. |

I may have misunderstood what he meant, but it sure sounded like a good deal. My problem is I don't have the right tools or shop to install the pipe. The Dyno Jet guys are right here in town, and they have the knowledge and experience to do the job professionally. I still want your pipe, badly, but I don't want to get in trouble. Would you recommend I take the bike and the labor to another shop? |

torc55, If you purchase the pipe and power commander we will install map in PC, you can have both installed at any dealer you want they just don't have to do a dyno session. |

The VMax crowd is getting a little restless, but we're a patient bunch too. We had to wait months for our bikes back in '09, we'll wait for your pipe. Just let us know how the progress is coming. Thanks, Torc |

Any chance you can hook us up with a look at the system or at least a link to the Gen4 mufflers? Pictures are always appreciated. I'd be happy to provide some new/updated info to the StarVmax.com website. Thanks, Shaun |

Will all variations of the exhaust be offered at the same time or will the systems be released separately? Any idea what you will offer first? slip on or full system?
Thanks, Vernon 2009 Vmax

Max Warrior, Full system - Gen4, Alienhead & Shortmeg, polished or black ceramic coated. The Gen4 is the same as Gen3 except the oval muffler is shaped like an Alienhead. |

What are our choices for the muffler finish, e.g. stainless, black, carbon fiber???? Also, any release date/pricing info yet? Thanks, Shaun |

EJ,
Two quick questions. Will the NRPs work with the Gen4 mufflers? Have you gotten dB readings on the VMax 4-2-1 systems yet, specifically with the GEN4? |

Bump.
Do the Noise Reduction Plugs work with the Gen4 mufflers? Thanks |

okbrown,
No - But there is no need either. The noise reduction plugs are designed for the megaphone style mufflers which don't have much volume for baffle packing. The Gen 4's have more volume, so they are naturally quieter.
