I'm putting together a Rickman framed '77Z1 Kawasaki to roadrace in the vintage class. The motor has a Wiseco 1075cc kit,10.25:1 compression, with the heads cleaned up and 29mm Mikuni smoothbores.I have headers for it and was wondering if you have a slip-on that would work with it.It'd need some kind of baffling as a couple of race tracks are doing sound checks(still fairly flexible).I've been racing a '75 Z1 for the last 5 years ,stock except for a 1015cc kit and broke it in pretty much as you suggested and it's still running pretty strong after more than 60 races.

Jerry, sorry we do not have anything for that bike, we carry 1999 and newer exhaust systems. |

I kinda figured that.On this vintage stuff you make it up as you go.I thought that if I had a pipe that breathed well on a newer 1000cc machine that it might work OK on this motor.I'm hoping to take it to Roebling and Daytona at the end of Feb/Mar.After break-in I'm having it put on a dyno and getting it jetted properly.I've had to make caliper carriers, spacers, rear sets, seat, etc.I'd send a picture, but I'm too computer impaired(or too old,61).I figured if I had a pipe that was close I could make it work.
