Jeremy Teasley and RMR Run 6.970 at 212.66 MPH
Monday, October 15, 2012

This past weekend, the 10th Annual Shakedown Nationals were held at historic Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ. Known as the “Shakedown at E’Town” to most, the event has a rich history of record setting performances, and this weekend was no different. With cool temperatures, a density altitude below sea level, and a track prepared by NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Champion Eddie Krawiec, the Pro Street bike class had all the ingredients for records.

Jeremy Teasley on the RMR Pro Street bike

Ronnie Mitchell called upon Jeremy Teasley to fill in for normal jockey, Bud Yoder, and Teasley made the most of the opportunity. After qualifying second with a stout 7.149 at 207.88mph, Teasley proceeded to rip off three consecutive passes of 7.01, 6.97, & 6.97 all over 210mph. In the process of beating Joey Gladstone in the finals, Teasley not only went an astounding 6.970 at 212.66mph, but he also claimed the $5,000 winner’s check. When asked about the weekend, Jeremy had this to say, “Ronnie made it easy on me by giving me an awesome bike. The bike didn’t even try to pick up the front wheel, just smooth and flat. All I had to do was hit the shift points.” Ronnie Mitchell’s Suzuki Hayabusa is outfitted with the new R Series BST carbon fiber wheels. “The new R Series BST carbon fiber wheels worked great, and the two consecutive passes over 212mph were some of the smoothest and straightest Pro Street passes I’ve ever made,” said Teasley.

Brock’s Performance would like to congratulate Ronnie Mitchell Racing and Jeremy Teasley on their outstanding performance this past weekend. We would also like to congratulate HTP Performance as Ryan Schnitz and Danny Cox both advanced to the semi-finals on BSTs. Brock’s Performance president Brock Davidson had this to say, “With three out of four semi finalists running BST carbon fiber wheels, it’s easy to see what the fastest riders prefer when it comes to performance wheels. We couldn’t be happier to have such standout teams using our off the shelf “Stupid Fast” products.”
