Bio:

Name: Mark Oliver Stahl

Current Race Bike: Suzuki GSX-R1000 (2006)

Hometown: Hamburg, Germany

Home Track: We have no home track here as you do in the United States. We can only race if there is an official event, we can not go whenever we want. In Germany there are tough laws and therefore prohibits daily training at a home track. I do prefer the tracks in Bechyne, Czech Republic and Hockenheim, Germany.

Number of years riding: 10 years total / 5 years circle circuit / 2 years drag racing

Mark Oliver Stahl

Profession: Equipment Mechanic at Airbus

What was your first exposure to motorcycles? A colleague had convinced me to get a motorcycle license and in 2001 I bought my first motorcycle. My first bike was a Suzuki Bandit 600, 2nd bike Suzuki Bandit 1200, and my 3rd was a GSX-R1000.

How did you get involved in drag racing? My wife took me to some racing events with her friends. Some time later I became a mechanic for a friend of mine. In may 2010 I started to build my own drag bike.

What year did you start racing or being involved in racing? In 2010, prior to then I drove circle track as a hobby to train in the correct handling of a motorcycle and to learn on the racetrack.

We know everyone loves hearing about their favorite professional athlete or racer, but there are a thousand stories out there that no one gets to hear about. It could be a hobby racer going fast and setting a personal best performance at their local drag strip or track day, or maybe it is a budding customizer building up their personal ride in their garage and doing some innovative things. It could even be an avid rider on two wheels who wants to share their enthusiasm for a particular project or charity in their community.

Brock’s Performance wants to use the power of social media to let you know about people you might not otherwise hear about. We would like to share your stories, accomplishments and photos with others. It could be any local racer, customizer or enthusiast who is simply going out and doing what they love to do, using Brock’s Performance products.

We ask you to stick to these simple rules: the story must revolve around motorcycling, it cannot be commercial in nature, and must in some way involve Brock’s Performance exhaust systems and other performance items.
